FAQ

Common questions about our process

Processing times vary by visa type, country of origin, and USCIS workload. Tourist visas (B-1/B-2) can be processed in 2–8 weeks, while family immigrant visas may take 10–18 months. Student visas typically take 3–8 weeks after you're accepted to a SEVP-approved school. We'll give you a realistic timeline estimate at your free case review.

For most visa types, an immigration attorney is not legally required. Our experienced consultants can guide you through the entire process. However, for highly complex cases — such as certain waiver applications or removal proceedings — we will advise you to seek licensed legal counsel and can provide referrals.

A denial is not always the end of the road. Depending on the grounds for denial, we can help you file an appeal, submit a motion to reopen or reconsider, apply for a waiver, or identify an alternative visa pathway. Our Premium service includes full RFE and appeals support.

Yes, in most cases you can reapply. Previous denials must be disclosed on your new application. Our advisors are experienced in building stronger applications after a denial, addressing the specific grounds cited by the consular officer or USCIS, and improving your chances on the next attempt.

We provide comprehensive interview preparation including common questions for your specific visa type, guidance on what documents to bring, advice on how to present your case clearly, and a mock interview session for Premium clients. The goal is to make sure you walk in confident and prepared.

Requirements vary by visa type but commonly include a valid passport, DS-160 application form, visa fee payment receipt, photo, financial evidence, and supporting documents specific to your category (e.g., acceptance letter for student visas, employer petition for work visas). We provide a customized checklist at the start of your case.
